My name is Stephen Feest and I am a local, fully qualified, DSA approved Driving Instructor, teaching pupils to drive mainly in the Uttoxeter and closely surrounding areas. I use a Ford Ecosport manual transmission car for the instruction which should be able to accommodate the smallest to the tallest of pupils for a comfortable mobile classroom. It is air conditioned and has safety cameras both forward and rear facing. I pride myself on being calm and communicative and endeavour to adapt my style to each individual pupil’s needs. I am happy to teach even the most nervous of pupils and watch them gain confidence as they progress through to qualified drivers, right through to those who maybe haven’t driven for a while or have lost their confidence and just wish to take a refresher. The test centre I prefer to use is Burton but will occasionally use Newcastle-under-Lyme.
I had lessons with Steve for around 6 months and I passed with no faults or minors. Absolutely loved every lesson I had, can talk to Steve about pretty much anything. He coached me to a very high standard through mock tests and testing scenarios which made me into the safe driver I am today. He points out things I’ve never even thought about whilst driving, keeps you relaxed and calm, makes lessons fun and always puts the pupil first – he even came home from holiday a day early so that I could go for my test! Passed with 2 minors on my third attempt! I can say for certain that it would have taken a lot longer if I wasn’t with who I can only say is more coach than teacher. Steve is absolutely amazing. He got me test ready in a couple of months and it’s because of Steve I passed first time with seven minors! Steve is so friendly and understanding. Steve is a brilliant driving instructor, I always felt that it was easy to ask him any questions I had about driving, I have recommended him to many of my friends and family and I really appreciated how patient and committed he was when I was learning to drive, I cannot speak high enough of him as a driving instructor as he helped me to pass first time. He always arrived early and would not be bothered if the lesson had to go slightly over if it meant that I got a little bit more practice in. Steve teachers to a higher level than is needed to pass which made me confident for when I had to take my test.

A brilliant instructor with loads of patience and tact. Very supportive and full of good advice. I passed first time with only 5 minor faults. Steve gave me the confidence to drive on busy roads and I’m really grateful for all the tips he shared that have proved so useful in driving solo!
Steve is a great instructor, he got me back into driving after having a break for 2 years giving me more and more confidence each lesson I had with him.
